Jack Rasmussen is the Director and Curator of the American University Museum at theKatzen Arts Center. He previously held Executive Director positions at di Rosa Preserve:Art & Nature, Maryland Art Place, and Rockville Arts Place. He was the owner anddirector of Jack Rasmussen Gallery in Washington, DC.

Exhibition Guidelines:

Deadline for emailed submissions by January 10th, 2017

Images must be emailed in the following format:
lastname_title_dimensions_medium_price.
Images should be sent as jpegs, and measure 1800 pixels on the longest side.

Two-dimensional work must not exceed 45 inches wide including frame. Threedimensional work must not exceed 200 lbs. in weight. All two-dimensional work must beproperly wired: saw tooth hardware will not be accepted. Work framed and coveredmust be under Plexiglas: glass will not be accepted. Three-dimensional work requiring apedestal should be identified in the artist’s entry. Coral Springs Museum of Art canprovide pedestals. Consistent with FLAG’s policy, no work that is POR (price onrequest) or NFS (not for sale) will be exhibited.SHIPPED

 

Shipped and Delivered Work

Those hand-delivering their work must do so on Monday, January 30, 2017 between10:00am and 3:00pm at Coral Springs Museum of Art. The museum is located at 2855Coral Springs Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33065.

The de-installation of exhibition will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 between10:00am and 3:00pm. At the same address. All artwork must be picked up on that date and during those times.

Shipped work must be received between January 24th and 27th, 2017 to FLAG’s designated delivery service for this symposium. Shipped work should be sent, via the artist’s preferred carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx) to:

Those shipping their work through their own carrier to the designated FLAG delivery service must include a separate check made payable to The UPS Store in the amount of $10. This fee covers the costs of receiving, handling, short-term storage, and delivering and retrieving the work from Coral Springs Museum of Art on the designatedreceiving and de-installation dates, and shipping the returned work via the artist’s carrier.All shipped work must include a return, prepaid shipping label for the artist’scarrier.

All hand-delivered work must be received at Coral Springs Museum of Art on Monday,January 30, 2017 between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
