Celebrating 67 Years of Art
Welcome to to the the the the the Catalog Edition of of of the the the the the our 67th annual Exhibition/Symposium of of of the the the the the Florida Artists Group It was indeed a a a a a a a a a a memorable event from beginning to to end for me me me as as the the the the the very newly elected President of of of the the the the the Florida Artists Group I I give my sincere thanks to to to David Chang Area I I Chairman for arranging our Symposium to to to be at at the the the Coral Springs Museum Museum of of of Art
Julia Black Andrews the the the the Executive Director of of of the the the the Museum Museum was was very very accommodating and and generous to to us us us us in in in in every way The The exhibit was was the the the the most professionally presented that that I I remember in in in in my seventeen years as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a member member of of of the the the the the the Florida Artists Group I I I I give Julia and and and David credit for for for that that The The Staff of of of the the the the the the Museum were a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a pleasure to to work work with and and and I I I I I I thank thank them for for for being there for for for us us I I I I I I want to to thank thank the the the the the the Sympo- sium sium Committee of of of of Area Area I I I I I I and and Cecily Hangen of of of of Area Area II who worked through the the the the the the the the details of of of of making a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a successful Symposium Last but not least I I I I want to to thank the the the the the the the artists of of of of of of o the the the the the the the Florida Florida Artists Group for showing the the the the the the the public some of of of o the the the the the the very best art art the the the the the the state of of of o Florida Florida has to to offer They are the the the the the the ones whom we honor and celebrate each year in our annual Symposium I I I I look forward to our our 68th Symposium Symposium in in in in Ocala Florida in in in in late January 2018 Jeffrey Baisden Area VIII Chairman has been making preparations since our our last Symposium Symposium and from what we know so far it will be be another winner I would would like like to to to take this this opportunity to to to let you you know that although artists are are the stars of of o this this organization we we welcome many different types of of o memberships and and and i if you you you are are interested in in in art art art and and and would would like like to to to be be profiled in in in our Group there is is is a a a a a a a a a a a place for you you Our website is: www floridaartistsgroup org Please check us out and and and get in touch with me
