Artist Statement:
I like to capture the energy of a model/ sitter by exploring their space and atmosphere and movement through the media, the imagery, the colors and values. Juxtaposing areas of definition and diffusion where form and space interact augments my approach to portray a figure in a particular mood and attitude. My still life and landscape forms are approached in a similar manner searching for a movement, a mood and an energetic visual statement.
