Artist Bio:

Candace has a B.S. and M.S. degrees in Art Education, Fine Arts and Constructive Design from
Florida State University. She taught students in art, grades K-12 for over 30 years. Since leaving her teaching position, she has studied, practiced her craft and began to exhibit her art work more widely.

Artists Statement:

Drawing from life is my artist's way of experiencing and communicating that moment in time...
that connection...that expression...that exists and allows for exchange.
My figurative work begins in that immediacy...and continues often to reveal that exchange,
tell a story or express shared human spirit.
