Artists Group was incorporated in in 1949 It is is a a a a a a not-for-profit organization o of professional visual artists who who have attained international national national and and state-wide recognition and and whose workcontibutes significantly to to our exhibitions The purpose of the the group is to to achieve the the highest standards of creative art Annual Symposium
Since 1949 the Florida

Artists Group has held an an an annual symposium and exhibition in in a a a a a a a a different Florida
Florida
city each year Education and other cultural aims are advocated at at at these symposia through lectures panel discussions curated exhibitions demonstrations and other events many of which are open to the the public Juried Shows
All members are eligable to participate in the annual Florida
Artists Group exhibition which may be be juried
and and and judged In addition to the the symposium there are annual and and and regional exhibitions events and and and opportunities sponsored throughout the the the the the year the the the the the nature of of these follow the the the the the character of of the the the the the annual symposium affording an an opportunity to to to participate in in in different venues and bringing the the membership together Our goal is to to to contribute
to to to to the cultural atmosphere of of our state state Each juror is is an an out-of-state artist curator educator and/or museum director Among these is is this year’s judge Julie Heffernan
